Aspiring Information Security Specialist: Fueled by Curiosity and Progress
Ever since I was a child, my curiosity to dismantle and understand every component of a computer has been a bit more than advisable—and that same obsession led me straight into cybersecurity. Today, my daily routine unfolds across Linux terminals, where Bash and I share a “love–hate” relationship whenever a script fails on the first try, and in controlled web‑pentesting environments where I hunt down flaws before anyone less ethical can find them.
I’ve conquered over 40 machines on Hack The Box, each one a unique puzzle that’s taught me as much about network protocols as about the human psychology lurking behind every vulnerability. At the same time, spinning up local websites helped me internalize frameworks and workflows: by building my own JavaScript projects from scratch, I learned why front‑end validation alone is never enough—and how a bad commit can ruin your entire day (thank you, Git, for keeping receipts).
My toolkit includes Python for automating vulnerability discovery, data analysis, and custom exploits; Git for maintaining order in the chaos of my repositories; and, of course, an ever‑deepening knowledge of networking and encryption—supplemented by constant reading of specialized blogs, online conferences, and labs dedicated to the newest attack vectors.
I’m not here to promise magic wands: in security, the only constant is change. My commitment is to anticipate real risks, propose practical countermeasures, and keep learning without taking anything for granted. After all, those who ignore a breach today will be tomorrow’s headline.
